Mon 8th Dec 2025La Dolfina Lift IX Womens Argentine Open Fifth title following 9-4 win vs UAE Polo
On Saturday 6 December, La Dolfina won their fifth Women’s Argentine Open following their 9-4 victory against defending champions UAE Polo – the win means they are the team with the most titles in this tournament. Following two evenly matched opening chukkas, La Dolfina pulled ahead in the third chukka, 4-2, and for the remainder of the match they turned up the heat. A standout performance from the whole team, including four goals from the top scorer of the Final, Mia Cambiaso, illustrated the strength of the team who were undefeated in this year’s tournament.
The win was the fifth title for Milly Hine (tournament top scorer with 13 goals) and Mia Cambiaso (chosen as Most Valuable Player), who are now tied with Cande Fernandez Araujo for the most Women’s Argentine Open titles; for Hope Arellano it was her third win while for Cata Lavinia it was her very first Women’s Argentine Open title.
Don Ercole Heyla, played by Catalina Lavinia, received the AAP Best Playing Pony Award and Monjita Bag Lady, played by Hope Arellano, was chosen as the AACCP BPP (also won BPP in last weekend’s Pink Polo Cup Final).
