Margie founded Polo Times in 1995. While working for the sport’s governing body (the Hurlingham Polo Association), she realised that there was a need for better information and news about polo and began by publishing a single A4 sheet. She comes from a strong equestrian background and was captain of the equestrian club at the University of Birmingham, where she also began playing polo. Originally from Devon, Polly is also a keen surfer and so will be making the most of any weekend trips home to get to the beach.
