Mon 24th Nov 2025132nd Argentine Open Latest Results Sunday wins for La Hache Cria & Polo and Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu
The 132nd Argentine Open continued on Sunday 23 November after the matches scheduled for Saturday 22 November were postponed due to a rain delay.
The two Ulloa family teams, La Hache Cría & Polo and La Irenita La Hache – the latter allied with the MacDonoughs – faced off in a crucial clash. La Hache Cría & Polo needed a win to remain in the main draw of the 2026 Triple Crown, while La Irenita La Hache was preparing for next week’s league decider against Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu.
In a tightly contested match, both teams exchanged leads throughout. La Hache Cría & Polo gradually recovered from deficits thanks to standout performances from Joaquin Pittaluga, Iñaki Laprida, Bautista Bayugar and Toly Ulloa. With the score tied at 15-15, Iñaki Laprida sealed a dramatic 16-15 victory in the final moments, securing their spot in the Triple Crown main draw.
Later, Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu faced La Ensenada. The Pieres-Heguy combination dominated, gradually building a lead despite La Ensenada’s efforts, led by Jero del Carril. Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu held on for a 14-12 win and will now meet La Irenita La Hache in the league decider, remaining unbeaten in the tournament.
The tournament continues today with UAE vs Los Machitos and La Natividad La Dolfina vs Sol de Agosto.
