The 131st HSBC Argentine Open is the most prestigious polo tournament in the world and sees ten 40 goal teams competing. The action began on Saturday 2 November with La Hache Cría & Polo and Cría La Dolfina victorious over La Ensenada and Indios Chapaleufu respectively.
The tournament continued on Sunday 3 November with two more games which saw tournament debuts for two 40 goal line-ups, La Dolfina Saudi and La Natividad who beat La Zeta Kazak and La Aguada respectively – the two teams who emerged from the Qulaification Tournament, to play in the most significant tournament in the world. When Adolfo Cambiaso played for La Dolfina on Sunday, he became the polo player who has played in the most amount of Argentine Opens, with an impressive 32 to his name.
The 131st HSBC Argentine Open continues at the end of this week with four matches:
Friday 8 November: La Natividad vs. La Hache Cría & Polo
Saturday 9 November: La Hache vs La Aguada & Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose vs La Zeta Kazak
Sunday 10 November: La Dolfina Saudi vs Cría La Dolfina
