Wed 18th Mar 2026The Iglehart Cup Final The penultimate NPC 16-Goal Championship title goes to Kaia
After two exciting, extra chukka Semi Finals, Kaia and Flying H were the finalists out of 13 teams in this 16 goal tournament. The Final, which took place on Tuesday 17 March at the National Polo Center in Wellington, Florida got off to a great start with the two sides matching goal for goal. It was anyone’s game until Kaia upped the ante in the third chukka, pushing the attack and stretching the Flying H defence to move 7-3 up as the game went into half-time.
Kaia maintained the momentum and despite herculean efforts from the Flying H side, it was the eventual victors who controlled the second half of the game with Torito Ruiz Jorba earning the Most Valuable player Award thanks to his quick forward running plays and goal scoring. Magica, played by Miguel Novillo Astrada, won Best Playing Argentine Pony while Tres Montes, played by Torito Ruiz Jorba, won the Best Playing Pony Award.
The action never stops. This is the penultimate tournament in the four-part NPC 16-Goal Championship series. Next up is The Outback Cup which will be starting today, Wednesday 18 March, as 12 teams take to the field for the final leg.
