What’s On

This weekend’s fixtures

The sun is out and the season is well and truly under way, which means there’s an enormous amount of polo to keep you entertained this weekend.

Guards Polo Club will play host to the Final of the famous Cartier Queen’s Cup on Sunday 18 June, historically played in front of HM The Queen, welcoming the world’s best players onto Smith’s Lawn for what is billed to be the battle of the season thus far. On Saturday 17 June, RCBPC and Beaufort will both be holding the Finals of their first Victor Ludorum tournaments of the season, the John Prestwich Trophy 12 goal at RCBPC and the Eduardo Rojas Lanusse at Beaufort.
If you can’t get to Berkshire for the big match on Sunday, Cowdray Park Polo Club will be hosting the Final of the 15 goal Bryan Bethell Cup and Cirencester Park will be welcoming players for the Junior Cavalry Cup 8 Goal. And of course, not forgetting, not only is it Father’s Day on Sunday, but more importantly it is HM The Queen’s Official birthday on Saturday. Happy birthday Your Majesty!
