Tom Morley, Max Charlton, George Meyrick and Jack Richardson defeated Veuve Clicquot’s Guy Gibrat, Manolo Fernandez Llorent, Richard Le Poer and Matias Torres Zavaleta at this year’s Chester Audi International event. thousands of spectators watched as Audi England claimed victory for the third consecutive time in the Chester Test Math, with this year’s final score reading 7–4.5. The England line-up maintained their composure throughout the match with Captain Tom Morley explaining, “We played a fast, open game and moved the ball quickly.” Following the match, Max Charlton was presented with the Most Valuable Player award whilst his pony Taper Jean Girl received the Best Retrained Racehorse prize. Rest of the World’s Richard Le Poer’s pony Jet was awarded the LDF Best Playing Pony award.
This same England line-up will represent their nation once again in The Super Nations Cup in China from 1–5 October. Richard Le Poer will accompany them as their reserve.
