THE HPA NEW Year National Club Championships concluded this weekend at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club (RCBPC).
Jonathan Munro Ford's Black Eagles were the winners of the 12-goal championship. Patron Munro Ford was joined by Pete Webb and Howard Smith and the side defeated Tempest – Gustav Rausing, Marcus Hancock and Ryan Pemble - 26-20. This follows Munro Ford's victory with Black Eagles in the 6-goal HPA Club Championships in December.
The 1-3-goal section, which was introduced for the first time this season, was won by Cool Hooves. The team of Saskia Meadows, Phil Meadows and Jack Hyde achieved a comfortable 23-13 victory over Red Kites.
