Mon 17th Sep 2012Success for James Beim in France Body Minute claim French Open title after beating In the Wings
BODY MINUTE WON the French Open on Saturday at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, after they defeated In The Wings, 14-9. Body Minute's James Beim and Edouard Pan were instrumental in their team's win, backed up by patron Jean-Christophe David and five-goaler Tomas Reinoso.
Body Minute made a strong start and led by four goals at half time. Despite Andre Fabre's In The Wings making a comeback in the fourth chukka, with goals from nine-goaler Pancho Bensadon, they then remained scoreless in the final chukka as Body Minute extended their lead by five goals before the final bell.
Meanwhile, yesterday, Lavinia Fabre's In The Wings Tom Tailor won the Ladies' French Open. They defeated Hecla - featuring Heloise Lorentzen and Emma Boers - by one goal, 5-4.
