Eduardo Novillo Astrada has been President of the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP) since 2017 but following the 98th Ordinary Assembly of the AAP on Thursday 27 May, Delfín Uranga has been appointed as the new President. The 47-year-old, 4 goal player, has held the position of Vice President during Novillo Astrada’s tenure as well as President of the Argentine Polo Pony Breeders Association (2012-2016). Uranga’s father, the late Marcos Uranga was AAP President from 1983 – 1987 and his father-in-law, Gonzalo Tanoira also held the position from 2001 – 2004.
