A NEW ZEALAND COLTS team is set to play two matches against two England U21 teams – one on Saturday and one on Tuesday. Saturday’s game, for the Alan Budgett Trophy, will be played at Kirtlington Park. It’s a family affair with siblings Ed and Izzy Parsons teaming up with brothers Will and Jack Berner to represent England U21.
The England U21 team playing on Tuesday, for the Gibley Cup at Cirencester Park, will be Max Hutchinson, Freddie Dear, Matt Perry and Rupert Lewis. Both Saturday’s and Tuesday’s teams will face the New Zealand Colts combination of James Wood, Henry Jones, Mark Duncan and Alex Rowland-Jones.
On Sunday, Ham Polo Club will host an HPA Development programme tournament - The Stagshead Trophy. Hugo Taylor, Oliver Cork, James Grayson, Max Dear, Charlie Day, Kian Hall, James McCarthy and John Dalton-Morgan will divided into two teams. The match is held to demonstrate up-and-coming talent who could become future British high-goal players.
Contesting the Whitbread Trophy at Rutland Polo Club on Wednesday is Tom Abel Smith, Nick Winterton, Charlie Walton and Max Stacy – for England – and Matthew Dove, Adam Dove, James Lindsay and Mungo Kilgour for Scotland.
