Thu 2nd Feb 2012Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge teams revealed Guards Polo Club's event in the Middle East will take place from 20-24 February
The teams for the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge have been announced. Four pro-am teams will take part in the 10-12 goal competition at Desert Palm, Dubai, from 20-24 February.
New parton Saad Audeh joins tournament regulars Farez Al Yabhouney, Amr Zedan, Adriano Agosti, Kassem Shaffi and Gary Shepherd. Ali Albwardy will not be taking playing due to his hosting committments but instead, his son, Tariq, will lead the home side, Desert Palm. Patron Saeed Bin Drai will be replaced by his son, Mohammed, after injury forced him to withdraw from the competition.
The event, now in its seventh year, is organised by Guards Polo Club and the core team from the club will be out in Dubai to help run the four-day tournament.
