Fri 27th Jan 2012Crab Orchard pull out of 26-goal in the USA George Rawling's withdraws his team from 26-goal IPCPB tournaments
Crab Orchard has withdrawn from the US Triple Crown (CV Whitney Cup, USPA Gold Cup and US Open), which they won in 2010. The reason behind George Rawlings withdrawing his team, featuring Adolfo Cambiaso and David "Pelon" Stirling, is currently unknown.
However, Cambiaso and Stirling are not without a team for the 26-goal season at International Polo Club Palm Beach. Valiente patron Bob Jornayvaz has organised for the two ten-goalers to play for a second Valiente side, to be patroned by Bob's son Robert. The fourth player is yet to be confirmed.
Bob will stick to playing with his Valiente team, which features Nacho and Miguel Novillo Astrada. Both teams will begin their 26-goal campaign on 19 February, when they compete for the CV Whitney Cup.
