The Quarter Finals for The 25th Open de France Barnes were played over Saturday 13 September – Sunday 14 September at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly.
On Saturday 13 September, La Magdeleine secured the first Semi Final spot following their narrow 14-13 win against Clinova Noa in a fiercely fought match which was decided by a 30 yard penalty conversion by Jerónimo del Carril. The second match of the day saw Octogone beat Brittany 8-6, with the accuracy of Pelón Stirling and Louis Hine helping secure their Semi Final spot.
On Sunday 14 September, Essso edged out Télédou 11-10 in overtime after Sapo Caset’s ninth goal sealed the comeback. Kazak defeated Talandracas 10-9 in extra time, with Fran Elizalde converting the winning penalty.
The weekend’s results mean that the Semi Finals will be played on Friday 19 September between: La Magdeleine vs Octogone (2.30pm local time) and Kazak vs Essso (5.30pm local time). The Final is scheduled for Sunday 21 September.
