Mon 20th May 2013Nacho Figueras ruled out of Gaucho International A fall early in the Cowdray Test Match leaves Figueras out of action
NACHO FIGUERAS WILL no longer play for Argentina at tomorrow's Gaucho International at the O2 Arena in London.
The six-goaler fractured his pelvis in a fall at Cowdray Park on Saturday, while playing for South America in the St Regis International Test Match, against England.
He will be replaced by six-goaler Andrea Vianini on the Argentina team for tomorrow's clash with England. Vianini will play alongside Adolfo Casabal and Oscar Mancini. Figueras was also due to play for Merchant Hub earlier in the evening, and is likely to be replaced by Luis Escobar or Jamie Morrison for that match.
Figueras was injured when his pony fell on top of him during the second chukka of the Test Match. He was replaced by Bautista Sorzana, after a delay of 15 minutes. South America went on to beat England 11-9.
