SOUTH AMERICA LIFTED the St Regis International Cup on Saturday, after defeating England 11-9 in the Cowdray Test Match.
The England team of captain Luke Tomlinson, Max Charlton, James Harper and James Beim took a 4-3 lead in the first chukka against the South America side of Silvestre Grahn, Alejandro Muzzio, Facundo Pieres and Nacho Figueras.
But South America pulled the score back to 6-6 by the end of the third chukka, with Figueras replaced by Bautista Sorzana after suffering an injury, and the visitors took the lead in the second half.
