ROMILLA ARBER'S FOUR Quarters Black won the Tyro Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club yesterday. The 12-goal tournament is the first major medium-goal fixture of the season.
The team, which also featured Max Charlton, Richard Le Poer and Jack Berner, narrowly defeated the Athena team of Edward Baner-Eve, Ed Hitchman, James Beim and Angelos Damaskos, 6-5 in overtime in the final.
The subsidiary final was won by Maiz Dulce – Glen Sherriff, Bradley Mallet, Jamie Le Hardy and Peter Barfoot – who beat Clashleigh 7-6.
