Wed 4th May 2011Queen's Cup teams confirmed A total of 16 teams will contest the Queen's Cup at Guards
The full list of teams entered for the Queen's Cup have now been confirmed by Guards Polo Club.
In total, 16 teams will be taking part, including some familiar teams and players from last year
Tariq Albwardy's Dubai side, who won the title last season, return with a slightly different line-up. Lucas Criado and Ollie Cudmore will play alongside Adolfo Cambiaso, hoping to put their side through to the final, held on Sunday 12 June.
New on the scene is Richard Mille (formerly Ahmibah). Patron Prince Bahar Jefri lines-up alongside Alejandro Muzzio, Pablo MacDonough and Max Routledge.
Paul Oberschneider and his La Golondrina side have made the step up to high goal this year. British seven-goaler Satnam Dhillion will feature on his side.
The draw for the 17-22 goal tournament will be held next Tuesday, 10 May, at Guards Polo Club at 8pm.
