While The C.V. Whitney Cup qualifying rounds have already been completed and the Semi Finals set for Wednesday 21 February (Park Place vs Valiente & Coca Cola vs La Dolfina), there is still plenty of polo being played this weekend in Florida.
The last league matches of The Ylvisaker Cup are still being played with four matches scheduled over the weekend: Clearwater vs La Fe/Dazos, SD Farms/Old Hickory Bourbon vs Mayer Ranch, Patagones vs 90210 Polo and Flying H vs BTA.
Following yesterday’s U.S. Women’s Open Championship Semi Finals, which saw 90210 Polo beat Grand Champions/ Work to Ride 10-7 and Buena Vibra beat La Fe 10-9, 90210 Polo and Buena Vibra will go head-to-head on Sunday 18 February in the Final.
Action this week in The Dubai Gold Cup at Al Habtoor Polo Club has seen victories for Habtoor, Dubai Wolves and Bangash resulting in Semi Final spots for Dubai Wolves and Bangash. The league stages resume tomorrow, Saturday 17 February, with Mahra by AIX Investment Group vs Ghantoot and culminate on Sunday 18 February with two matches: Dubai Wolves by CAFU vs Bangash and Habtoor vs UAE Polo.
