2024 Gauntlet of Polo Schedule & Teams

Nine teams competing from 9 February

The Gauntlet of Polo is returning for its sixth year with nine teams competing for three of the most sought-after US titles: The C.V. Whitney Cup (9 – 25 February), The USPA Gold Cup (23 February – 24 March) and The U.S. Open Polo Championship (22 March – 21 April). As per last year, teams can also enter any of the three tournaments individually, however they cannot win the entire Gauntlet of Polo if they choose to do so – Clearwater is only competing in The USPA Gold Cup and The U.S. Open.
La Fe and Dutta Corp are returning with the same line-ups as 2023, five-time C.V. Whitney Cup winners Valiente, and 2023 USPA Gold Cup winners Scone, will also be making a triumphant return and Pilot returns once again as the only team to have captured the Gauntlet in 2019.
Four 10 goalers (Hilario Ulloa, Facundo Pieres, Poroto Cambiaso, Adolfo Cambiaso) will compete, Facundo Pieres is fresh from his 2023 Argentine Open win with La Natividad.
