The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club has released the teams and dates for The Arena Gold Cup. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday 17 February, with Imperial Polo Team and SUPA Polo going head-to-head at 12pm. SUPA Polo Team will be testing the team cohesion in an exhibition match at the SUPA Winter Nationals this weekend at Rugby Polo Club. The following day, Four Quarters and Picazo Polo Stud will face each other at 1pm. Sunday 19 February will feature a double bill of action, with Emlor vs Sifani at 12pm, and Regal Warriors vs Imperial Polo Team at 1.30pm. The pace heats up on Tuesday 21 February with three matches, first-up SUPA polo vs Regal Warriors at 11am, swiftly followed by Sifani vs Four Quarters and at 2pm, Picazo Polo Stud will face Emlor in the last of the qualifiers. This year, a healthy seven teams have entered the competition, meaning the competition will no doubt be fiercer than ever. The seven teams have been placed into a league of three and a group of four, and those teams placed in first and second in each division will play in the Semi Finals on Thursday 23 February. The runners-up of the Semi Finals will play in the Silver Cup Final, whilst the teams in fifth and sixth place will compete in the Bronze Cup Final. The Finals of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Cups will be played on Saturday 25 February.
