Wed 17th Dec 2014Polito Pieres awarded 10 goal handicap Argentine Polo Association releases handicap changes
Following the end of the Triple Crown season, the Argentine Polo Association have published the 2014 handicap changes to AAP registered players. Former Alegria team member, Polito Pieres, who recently announced his 2015 plans to play with his cousins for Ellerstina, has been awarded the ultimate 10 goal handicap. When he joins Facundo, Gonzalito and Nico in their attempt to capture the 2015 Triple Crown season, the Ellerstina line-up will total 39 goals.
Other changes, saw the Chapaleufu team go up by three goals with Eduardo and Ignacio Heguy moving from 8 to 9, and Alberto Heguy’s handicap raised from 7 to 8. Alfredo Cappella Babrabucci – who replaced an injured Fred Mannix on the Alegria team – has seen his handicap raised to 8, alongside Santiago Toccalino. Clemente Zavaleta, was raised to 7 goals.
Lolo Castagnola went down from 9 to 8, whilst Milo Fernandez Araujo, Tomas Garcia del Rio, Lucas James, Jaime Huidobro and Matias Magrini will all now play off a 7 goal handicap. Tomas Fernandez Llorente, Martin Garrahan, Federico Von Wernich and Mark Tomlinson have had their handicaps lowered from 7 goals to 6.
The women’s handicap results were also released with Lia Salvo going from 8 to 9. For a full list of handicap changes, click here.
