BRITISH PATRON Kaveh Shakib won the first tournament of the spring season at Santa Maria Polo Club, Sotogrande.
Shakib teamed up with Francisco Morales, Nicolas Alvarez and Juan Maria Ponce, leading Shakib Polo to a 7-6 victory over Los Dragones in the final. Brit Richard Fagan’s Silex team finished third in the 0-4-goal tournament.
The club will also host two 10-12-goal tournaments later this month, with Brits Jack Kidd and Nacho Gonzalez in action. The first of these tournaments gets underway on Saturday 12 April.
