THE CARTIER QUEEN'S CUP continued this weekend at Guards Polo Club, with Zacara and El Remanso winning their second consecutive matches.
Lyndon Lea's Zacara had the edge over Les Lions yesterday (Monday 27 May), leading throughout to win the match 11-10, with Facundo Pieres scoring all of Zacara's field goals, as well as penalties.
El Remanso achieved a 9-8 win over Enigma on Sunday (26 May), to boost them to the top of league one, with patron George Hanbury playing against his brother Charlie, who has made the move from El Remanso to Enigma this year.
Dubai and EFG Bank Aravali recorded their first wins of the tournament over the weekend, Dubai defeating Emlor 13-8 and EFG Bank Aravali beating Twelve Oaks 9-8.
The league games will continue tomorrow with Sumaya taking on HB Polo. Black Bears will face UAE Polo on Thursday and Talandracas will play Cortium on Friday.
