Lechuza Caracas won the Sotogrande High Goal Gold Cup at Santa Maria Polo Club with a 12-8 win over Dos Lunas Hublot.
Patron Victor Vargas won the trophy for the first time, playing alonside Argentine 10-goaler Juan Martin Nero and Uruguayan duo Alejo Taranco and Santiago Sterling.
Remarkably for Stirling, the victory represents his third success in the High Goal Gold Cup in the last four years.
Elsewhere at the Santa Maria Polo Club over the weekend, Marqués de Riscal won the Medium Gold Gold Cup title with a 13-7 win over Saint Mesme and Richard Fagan’s Silex, who also featured young Brit Ralf Richardson, lifted the Low Goal Gold Cup title alter beating Bisontes by the same scoreline.
