Wed 22nd Jan 2025England vs Brazil in 2025 Coronation Cup Teams still to be announced
The Hurlingham Polo Association has announced that England will face Brazil in the 2025 Coronation Cup at Guards Polo Club on Saturday 26 July. It will be the fourth time the two sides have faced each other in The Coronation Cup with wins for England in the three previous encounters (1996, 2001 and 2011). Jose Kablin, President of the CBP, commented, “The Brazilian Polo Confederation is honoured to accept the invitation; for Brazil it is undoubtedly an opportunity to play on the best polo fields in England with the best English polo players.”. Brazil has a strong international record with three World Championship titles (1995, 2001 and 2004). The match will be played as part of The International Day at Guards Polo Club which will also feature Young England in The Whitbread Tankard.
The teams have yet to be announced.
