Wed 15th Aug 2012Do you own an ex-racehorse? Then why not enter RoR’s new polo competition and be in with a chance of winning a cash prize
RETRAINING OF RACEHORSES will be holding their Racing to Polo Challenge in just over two weeks time – on Monday 3 September. Held at RCBPC, the competition will offer cash prizes of up to £1,000 in each of the three sections. An appearance fee of £100 will also be awarded to each horse entered.
Riders, who must be two-goals or above, will be required to give a two-minute freestyle showing the pony – who must of raced in the UK and be RoR registered – as he/she wishes. There will be three sections: three year olds; four year olds; and five year olds and upwards. In each section, £1,000 will be awarded to the winner and £500 for second placed individuals. Players can only enter a maximum of two ponies per section.
All previous entries will stand unless RoR are informed otherwise. For more information, or to enter a pony, please see www.ror.org.uk.
