Mon 9th Feb 2026Tamera Win Inaugural PLYRS Cup 10-7 win against Park Place
The PLYRS Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, hosted their first ever tournament – The PLYRS Cup – with the Final played on Saturday 7 February. Six teams up to 22 goals took part in the tournament, which served as a training tournament for the teams competing in the upcoming Gauntlet of Polo, which begins this week.
The Final saw Tamera vs Park Place, with each side featuring a 10 goaler in their line-up, Poroto Cambiaso substituted in for his father Adolfo for Tamera and Hilario Ulloa played for Park Place.
Park Place’s patron, Andrey Borodin was replaced by Christian Weisz, and they dominated from the start of the match with a 3-0 lead in the opening chukka. However, Tamera slowly fought back and managed to take the lead in the fifth chukka, 7-6. The sixth chukka was Tamera’s best, with three goals to Park Place’s one, securing them a 10-7 win.
Cambiaso was named Most Valuable Player and Bravita Pancha, played by Cambiaso, was chosen as the Best Playing Pony.
