Thu 5th Dec 2024131st Argentine Open 80 Goal Final La Dolfina vs La Natividad on Sunday 8 December
Yesterday, Wednesday 4 December, La Dolfina Saudi and Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose went head-to-head in the second Argentine Open Semi Final. Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose’s Sapo Caset scored 11 goals (10 from penalties and one from a corner) but the team struggled to find their rhythm and scored only one goal from open play throughout the eight chukka match. La Dolfina got off to a good start but fell behind in the fourth (6-7 to Ellerstina) and fifth chukkas (8-9 to Ellerstina) but took control from the middle of the sixth chukka and continued to do so for the remainder of the match. This allowed them to turn the result around and secure a 15-12 win and with it their place in the Final on Sunday 8 December.
With 2023 champions La Natividad already qualified for the Final, it means it will be an 80 goal match and a replay of this year’s Hurlingham Open Final between the two sides, which was won by La Natividad – so definitely not a match to miss! The Final will be livestreamed here.
