The first Semi Final for The 131st HSBC Argentine Open was played yesterday, Tuesday 3 December, between La Natividad and La Hache. 2023 Argentine Open winners La Natividad beat La Hache 12-9 to secure the first spot in Sunday’s Final (8 December) which will be their fourth consecutive Argentine Open Final. Yesterday also saw Indios Chapaleufu vs La Aguada, with Indios Chapaleufu needing a win to confirm their place in next year’s Triple Crown. By half-time Indios Chapaleufu had a strong 12-3 lead, but La Aguada fought back and held their opponents scoreless for three chukkas while they closed the gap. However, Indios Chapaleufu controlled the last two chukkas and took the win to qualify for the 2025 Triple Crown. The 131st HSBC Argentine Open continues today with the second Semi Final between Ellerstina and La Dolfina (5pm local time) and an earlier match between La Zeta Kazak vs La Ensenada (2pm local time).
