Hurlingham Open Finalists Decided

La Hache vs La Dolfina Saudi on Saturday 7 October

This weekend, 30 September – 1 October, saw the 130th Hurlingham Open Semi Finals played and therefore the finalists have been decided.
Defending champions La Dolfina Saudi were the first to qualify on Saturday 30 September following their 11-7 win against Ellerstina Yellow Rose, who had Brazilian Rodrigo Ribeiro de Andrade substituting in for Bautista Bayugar. La Dolfina Saudi dominated the first half, but Ellerstina bounced back in the fifth chukka and got to within just one goal of their rivals. A goal less sixth chukka was followed by two goals from Poroto Cambiaso and Juan Martín Nero to secure the win and with it La Dolfina Saudi’s place in the Final.
The next day, Sunday 1 October, La Natividad and La Hache Polo Team went head-to-head in an anticipated Semi Final. La Hache Polo Team dominated from the outset, only losing once chukka, consistently managing to close the gap each time La Nativadad scored. Hilario Ulloa was a standout player from the match, in the right place at the right time and coolly sending goals home to help his own organisation secure their place in the Final.
Therefore, La Hache Polo Team and La Dolfina Saudi will face each other on Saturday 7 October in the 130th Hurlingham Open Final.
The 130th Hurlingham Open Final Teams:
La Hache Polo Team (35): Rufino Bensadón (8), Hilario Ulloa (9), Guillermo Caset (9) & Francisco Elizalde (9)
La Dolfina Saudi (40): Adolfo Cambiaso (10), David ‘Pelon’ Stirling (10), Poroto Cambiaso (10) & Juan Martín Nero (10)
