Mon 26th Apr 2021Argentine Spring Season RescheduledDue to Covid-19 second wave
The Argentine Polo Association (AAP) Board of Directors has made the decision to reschedule all official polo for the Spring season as of today, Monday 26 April, with official tournament dates being rescheduled. The decision was recommended by the Board’s Subcommittee on Medicine in response to the high demand currently being placed upon the country’s health system by the second wave of Covid-19. As polo is a high-risk sport, the AAP feels that avoiding playing will reduce the possibility of creating injuries which require medical attention and would put an extra demand on the healthcare system. The AAP has similarly advised all member clubs to cease competitive activity immediately. Photograph: The AAP has postponed all polo due to the second wave of Covid-19.
