Fri 14th Dec 2018Polo Times Out Next Week!December 2018/January 2019 issue hails the new year
The latest issue of Polo Times is once again packed full of polo news and knowledge. The December/January issue is a bumper edition with features from across the world, sharing with our readers exciting news from Argentina, America, India, the UAE and the British Isles, to name a few. This issue takes an in-depth look at the thrilling Final of The Hurlingham Open, which saw Ellerstina lift their first Triple Crown tournament title (before failing to secure a spot in The Argentine Open Final!). Polo photographer extraordinaire and equine enthusiast Helen Cruden shares her journey from horseback to behind the camera in our feature interview, whilst news from The International Cup at Grand Champions Polo Club wings its way to our reports pages. Most importantly, we take a look at the 12th Manipur Polo International and the impressive second place victory of the Flannels England team, in this historically significant tournament in the heart of where polo was traditionally founded. Plus, as always, this issue includes Polo Times’ regular sections covering all aspects of polo from Club Focus and Women’s Polo, to celebrating the achievements of the younger generation. This issue of Polo Times also has an enormous amount of content in our Knowledge section, covering everything from: how to stop your horse biting its bit, to preventing knee breaks and a look at why your horse might have abnormal breathing sounds. Last but not least, Royston Prisk sheds light on his passions, favourite ponies and most prized possessions (spoiler alert – it’s his new wife Rosie!).
