The tournament saw four teams of 14 and 16 goals participate. The preliminary matches saw Centauros La Aventura win 9-3 over Las Liebres Rei do Caviar and La Vanguardia Kía defeat Centauros La Maroma by 9-8. These results saw Las Liebres Rei do Caviar face Centauros La Maroma in the Subsidiary Final, with Las Liebres Rei do Caviar winning 5-2½. The main trophy was secured by La Vanguardia Kía after they beat Centauros La Aventura 5-3½. The AAP has informed the players and families involved to reserve the date of Friday 8 December as the new date for the tournament. XIV Copa Julio Novillo Astrada Final In the Final of the XIV Copa Julio Novillo Astrada, presented by Rio Uruguay Seguros, Las Monjitas beat La Enseñada with a score of 12-10. The match took place on Saturday 28 October at the Novillo Astrada’s Club where Juan Martin Zubía was named the Most Valuable Player and the Fair Play Award went to Ernesto Gutierrez. Eduardo Novillo Astrada Jr’s pony Siempre Maravillosa was awarded the Best Playing Pony rug, which was presented by Argentine Polo Pony Breeders Association.
