It may feel like summer is over, but we can promise you, it’s not done just yet! Polo is underway across the country this weekend with everything from -4 goal to 10 goal to keep you entertained. RCBPC will be hosting the Final of its two-week Lambourne Trophy tournament on Saturday, with some of the country’s best players gathering for the occasion, whilst Guards will be welcoming players for The Chairman’s Cup. Elsewhere, Fifield Polo Club will be holding its September Autumn Cup, heralding in the next season. Some clubs are celebrating a great season past with their end of season tournaments, such as Wicklow Polo Club and Taunton Vale, but across the Channel, our French friends will be hosting one of the highlights of the polo year, as the French Open comes to an end. The Open has been divided into two sections this year: the 14-16 goal and the women’s 16 goal. A real polo feast for spectators.
