Fri 10th Mar 2017Iglehart Cup Finalists decidedLa Indiana and Equine Liquid Biocell to face each other on Sunday 12 March in the Final of the Iglehart Cup at International Polo Club, Palm Beach
Equine Liquid Biocell impressively progress to the final unbeaten following Wednesday’s close victory against Mt. Brilliant. Despite being unbeaten, they will no doubt have to up their game as had Mt. Brilliant been more accurate from the penalty spot, the result of their semi-final may well have been much different. Equine Liquid Biocell will surely look to improve in order to maintain their unblemished scorecard Sunday’s other finalist, Michael Bickford’s La Indiana, have had a much more troublesome route to the final of the Iglehart Cup, losing their first two games of the tournament. After an ominous start to the semi-final where the dynamic Sapo Caset scored four field goals in the first chukka, La Indiana rallied to silence their critics and efficiently despatch the hotly tipped Tonkawa team. If La Indiana can achieve the same degree of accuracy from the penalty spot as they did on Wednesday from the open field they will be a force to be reckoned with in Sunday’s final. A report of the Iglehart Cup final will follow in April’s issue of Polo Times. Subscribe here to make sure that you don’t miss out!
