Mon 18th Jan 2016Polo Times Out This Week!Look Out For The January/February Issue 2016
The first issue of 2016 will be out this Friday, and in the post to all our subscribers on the same day! This issue has followed all the major tournaments around the globe with reports on The HPA Christmas National Club Championships at The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, a round-up of all the action in the 20 goal in America, a final report from the end of the high season in Argentina, from our overseas reporter Katie Vickery, as well as a report on the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge. Our features include a look at an equine therapy charity from Berkshire, an in-depth look at how snow polo has grown across the world from guest writer Caroline Stern, and Lucy Wilson gets to the bottom of visas, immigration and the future of apprenticeships. As well as all our usual news stories from home and abroad, we have Playing Tips back in this issue, with Rege Ludwig explaining the importance of getting your seat in the saddle right, vet, and polo player from Towcester, Matt Cullen, explains the options for ponies with breathing issues, whilst nutritional advice from Lorna Edgar focuses on ponies recovering from importation flights. Our Women’s Polo pages feature up-and-coming Genevieve Meadows, and report on the final women’s tournament of the Argentine season plus dates for the Ladies Nationals at Westcroft Park Polo Club. Our social pages are filled to the brim with fancy dress festivities and Christmassy cocktails, and last but not least we find out all about Lia Salvo’s passions.
