Thu 13th Aug 2015Lechuza Caracas to take on Dubai Sotogrande sees Finals of The High Goal INDI Silver Cup
After winning yesterday's matches against RH Polo and Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada, Dubai and Lechuza Caracas will contest the Final of The High Goal INDI Silver Cup in Sotogrande.
The Semi Finals of The Silver Cup at the Land Rover International Polo Tournament saw Dubai beat RH by 12-7 and Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada lose out to Lechuza Caracas 15-12. Large crowds gathered to watch on Los Pinos at the Santa María Polo Club, and they were rewarded with an exciting Dubai vs RH Polo match which exhibited great player skill, most notably that of Adolfo Cambiaso. In the second match, which saw Lechuza Caracas play Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada, the former team put up a strong fight in the first half that set the tone for the rest of the match. Three goals from Víctor Vargas put an early lead over Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada, which they struggled to claw back in the second match, leaving the score 15-12.The Final of The High Goal INDI Silver Cup will be played on Friday August 14 on Los Pinos IV.
Also on Wednesday 12 August, the Semi Finals of The High Goal Bronze Cup saw Ayala beat La Indiana by 12-7 and Murus Sanctus defeat HB, 13-12. Ayala and Murus Sanctus will play the Finals for the Bronze Cup today on Los Pinos III. Photograph: Dubai beat RH Polo 12-7. By Pablo Ramírez-SMPC
