Wed 13th May 2015Cartier Queen’s Cup draw announced12 teams to begin games next week for the 22 goal Yesterday evening Guards Polo Club hosted the 2015 President's Draw in the Clubhouse with the great and the good of the polo world, including players and patrons from the low, medium and high goal circuit in attendance. Proceedings commenced with Ebe Seivwright announcing entrants for the 8 goal Archie David and the 15 goal Bentley Royal Windsor Cup Tournaments, before the highlight of the evening – The President’s Draw for the 22 goal Cartier Queen’s Cup. After the 12 teams’ leagues had been announced Laurent Feniou, Managing Director of Cartier, addressed the room. "This is the biggest competition that Cartier supports in the world. Thank you all for helping The Queen's Cup to be such an amazing event. I'm extremely impressed by the standard of the patrons, players and teams." He then charmed the South American contingent in the room by continuing his speech in Spanish, to warm applause from all. The format for this year's 22 goal Cartier Queen's Cup will be: League One: Sub Groups A & D League Two: Sub Groups B & C Sub Group A: Zacara, King Power, Salked Sub Group B: King Power Foxes, UAE Polo, Somerton Sub Group C: Dubai, VHC Healthcare Sifani, HB Polo Sub Group D: Talandracas, El Remanso, RH Polo The Cartier Queen’s Cup begins on Tuesday 19 May with the Final scheduled for Sunday 14 June. The Bentley Royal Windsor begins on the 27 May with the Final on Sunday 21 June and the Archie David will begin on the 5 June with the Final set for 28 June.
