LEONES DEFEATED ROGER Carlsson’s FCT to win the medium-goal Bronze Cup at Santa Maria Polo Club, Sotogrande yesterday. The team of Petrus Fernandini, Ricky Trukillo, Guillermo Li and Ignacio Domecq got the better of FCT’s Carlsson, Mario Gomez, Michel del Carril and Seb Hancock 12-9. The final of the Bronze Cup high-goal takes place today (Friday 1 August) with Bob Jornayvaz’s Valiente, featuring Adolfo Cambiaso, Santiago Laborde and Santiago Torres, facing Inigo Zobel’s Ayala line-up, which includes Pelon Stirling and Diego Cavanagh.
