Tue 15th Apr 2014Semi-finals set for US Open The four top teams will fight it out tomorrow for a place in Sunday’s final
THE US OPEN semi-finals will take tomorrow at International Polo Club Palm Beach. Last year’s finalists Valiente will take on Lechuza Caracas in the first of tomorrow’s matches, with Alegria playing Crab Orchard for the second place in the final.
Both Bob Jornayvaz’s Valiente and Julian Mannix’s Alegria progressed to the semi-finals directly from the league stages, having finished top of their respective sections. Lechuza Caracas beat Coca-Cola 12-7 in Sunday’s quarter-finals and Alegria defeated Audi 13-12 to qualify for the semis.
The final will be played on Sunday 20 April.
