THE DUBAI POLO Gold Cup Series will be played at 18-goal level in 2015, making it the highest handicapped patron-led tournament in Asia.
The series, which includes the Dubai Silver Cup and the Dubai Gold Cup, is currently played at 16-goals, which will also be the case in 2014. For 2015, the decision has been made to raise the handicap to 16-18-goal level.
The 2013 series concluded in March, with Ghantoot lifting the Gold Cup and Habtoor winning the Silver Cup.
The tournaments are hosted by the Dubai Polo & Equestrian club and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
