The 22-goal Copa de las Naciones kicks off on Tuesday at Palermo

ENGLAND WILL PLAY South Africa in the opening match of the Copa de las Naciones on Tuesday (9 April). The England team of Luke and Mark Tomlinson, Ollie Cudmore and Matt Perry will face the South Africa side comprising Dirk van Reenen, Chris Mackenzie, Jean du Plessis and Nachi du Plessis.

The match is the first of the 22-goal round-robin tournament, which takes place at Palermo, Buenos Aires. Three teams will contest the tournament, with the third – Argentina – made up of Martin Joaquin, Diego Cavanagh, Peter Falabella and Manuel Plaza de Ayala. Argentina will play the loser of Tuesday's game on Thursday 11 April and the winner in the tournament's concluding match on Saturday 13 April.

This is the second year the HPA has sent a team to take part in the Copa de las Naciones. The team played as the “Rest of the World” in 2012 and finished second behind Argentina.
